The PowerTrans RotaFlex represents a new product philosophy. With its modern and enormously robust machine concept, the PowerTrans RotaFlex will actively contribute to the successful development of your company. The PowerTrans RotaFlex operates with an entirely new concept of a rotating mechanical washing action achieving quality levels with have been unthinkable before. With batch sizes from 25 to 100 kgs, for a 250 or 3500 kgs hourly capacity, there are no limits from the technical processing point of view.
Completely Re-defines the washing technique
We are pioneers of the Archimedian spiral in our VOSS archimedia, a design on which today’s washing lines are still based. The new PowerTrans RotaFlex opens doors for a new dimension in washing quality while reducing operating costs once again. Based on the innovative, robust and yet very simple inner drum design of the PowerTrans series, the RotaFlex performs rotating washing movements in combination with the universal and economical standing bath technology in the pre- and main wash section. The chamber walls are straight, not slanted as before, and the drum axle, an indispensable component of an Archimedial spiral, is no longer necessary.
Compared to the PowerTrans, the RotaFlex operates with further enlarged inner drums and extremely large transport chutes to ensure maximum washing quality and unloading reliability. The washing movement and the mechanical washing action achieved by the RotaFlex system can be termed unique. The batch is permanently lifted, water flows through, and highly efficiently compacted in the fluid by its free fall while ensuring a gentle treatment of the items. The limitations resulting from the previously common oscillating movement to the left and right are now overcome in an ideal manner and the work is permanently permeated with fluid at high flow speeds. The free fall created by the rotating washing movement leads to loosening of the batch, the mechanical washing action has a considerably more homogenous effect on the entire batch.
And this is not all the PowerTrans RotaFlex offers. With its ingeniously simple drum design, the so-called Dry Transfer could be achieved for the first time. After the main wash, the work is not transported into the rinsing zone including the non-retained liquor as was the previous state-of-the-art. The used liquor is now drained in the last main wash chamber. This means that the water in the first rinsing chamber no longer has to be drained, resulting in an enormous fresh water saving.
Backed by almost 30 years of experience in the construction of washing line with central batch transfer, we now use the rear of the large transport chute for the washing action itself. Now the work is permanently compressed and flown through, loosened, then recompacted as a result of the free fall and flown through again by the liquor. In this manner, water, detergents, chemicals, and heat energy have a far better access to the textile fiber than before.
The qualitative results with the most varied textile spectrum and degree of soiling are completely new, the degree of efficiency of the water, the detergents and the additives used is notably higher than in the past.
