Turnex is the fully automatic centrifugal extractor for continuous
batch washer lines processing any work classification.
Bright ideas seldom come out of nowhere. The physical dynamic
stability of the children's spinning top gave rise to the Turnex
design.
Loading and distribution
The Turnex tilts in direction of the tunnel washer to receive the
batch. The basket rotates in a super-flat loading angle position
so that the batch builds up an even layer of nearly equal thickness
to achieve a uniform moisture extraction.
The Turnex features field-programmable water draining for each work
classification to support optimum and even balancing.
Extraction
After work distribution, the basket swivels to the vertical extract
position which represents the ideal state for high-speed spinning
without shearing stress to the machine base frame.
Extract speeds and extract times are infinitely field-programmable
for each work classification.
Discharge
For discharge, the basket tilts to the unloading side opposite to
the tunnel washer. The large centrifugal aperture facilitates fast
work discharge directly onto a local transport or shuttle conveyor.
The basket design combined with the Turnex feature of a uniform
and thin layer of work guarantees a fast work discharge without
the need of a built-in unloading conveyor, sliding device, discharge
carriage or any kind of mechanical linen loosening devices or shaking
mechanisms.
