HPM High Power Ironer - Page 3
|
Steam and condensate flow
- Heating band/module with quadruple steam inlet supply
- Several condensate outlets
- Fully steam heated bridge across whole area
- Heating band and bridge with powerful and sensitive ball float-type condensate traps
- Insulated steam and condensate pipes
The HPM Drive
- Maintenance-free three phase standard motor
- Speed regulation by frequency motor
- Shock-resistant high performance V-belt drive
- Well-dimensioned spur gear
- 98% efficiency
- Oil change interval is approx. 20,000 operating hours which is approx. every 8 years
- Variable V-belt pulleys
The Advantages of the HPM
- Drying capacity increase - the new heating band technology has 50% more capacity. A two roll High Power ironer offers the same capacity as a conventional three roll ironer. A HPM three roll ironer achieves 15% more capacity than a conventional four roll ironer.
- Reduced space requirement - Thanks to the higher drying capacity, the space requirement is reduced. Where before a three roll ironer was needed, a two roll HPM ironer is sufficient.
- Operation and maintenance costs will be reduced because there is one module less to be maintained.
- Reduction of all consumption figures because of more efficient energy use. The reduction of one module involves reduced heat radiation and exhaust air quantity.
- Perfect finishing quality thanks to the highly polished stainless steel surface of the heating band and the uniform ironing pressure.
