Heat transfer of the steam to the inside of heating band. Forced by the great number of narrow streaming channels with an extremely flat hollow space the high steam streaming speeds almost prevent the formation condensate which would impede the heat transfer.
Heating of "bed" and bridge over the whole area. The new design permits the production of a practically uninterrupted heating band which is concave in the area of the ironing and convex in the area of the transfer sheet towards the next roll; resulting in flexible and completely heated bridges with large areas - exactly of the same design as the "bed" heating. This new type of bridge is not only completely heated but has also more than double the length compared to conventional ironer design.
Thermal conductivity of the heating band. The reduced shell thickness of the heating band improves the thermal conductivity.
Maximizing of ironing path independent of padding thickness. The pendulous heating bands possess elasticity and adapt themselves continuously to the roll - comparable to the functional mode of permanently self-adjusting brake bands. The result: a steadily constant ironing path independent of the padding quality or thickness.
Even and high ironing pressure. The flexible heating band enables an over 40% higher ironing pressure which is continuous over the whole area.
