Folding Principle
Different kinds of blankets can be processed with the Blanket
Folding System BFS. Folding by air sword in length folding station
- blade respectively reverse belt folding in cross folding station
combined with a folding gap, which automatically adjusts to different
item thickness, allowing a wide variety of goods to be processed.

Operation
Ergonomically designed wide pneumatically closing clamps. Clamp
position free programmable.
Feeding, Depositing and Spreading
- A lay down mechanism (option) ensures optimal spreading,
rapid clamp availability and precise depositing of items.
- Manual feeding by tilting the spreading and depositing
mechanism (option) into a rear position.
- Smoothing roller (option) for optimal processing
of heavy blankets and knitware.
 Transport,
Stacking
Transport - The folded items are discharged onto the side table.
Option Stacking - Flat Stacker - The front edge of the item to be
stacked is measured when entering the stacker, after that the transport
conveyor stops and the item is deposited onto the stacking table
by retracting of transport of conveyor.
Option Stacking - Lifting Stacker - The stacking table is lowered
according to the thickness of the folded items, controlled by photo
cell and sensitive hydropneumatic unit.
Operation and Control
The machine is operated from a centrally placed control panel which
meets practical operating requirements with its large, easy to read
display, ergonomic push buttons and directly available selection
menus together with an operator guide for individually required
programs.
