 Clamping carriage drive - The self-locking clamping mechanism increases its clamping effect on the item depending upon the spreading forces. Full surface clamping of items – sheets and covers – guarantees the gentle transfer of the spreading force to protect the fabric. The direct feed of the spreading clamp increases the feeding quality.
The TEM stands out for its quiet operation despite its extremely dynamic drives. Direct feed of items is achieved into ergonomically positioned clamps. Further, the clamping carriage drive is practically maintenance free due to the high performance timing belts and lint-resistant drive rail profile.
 Feeding small items – Lifting of the automatic spreading system enables the manual feeding of the ironer with small items. Additionally, the Super Standard model provides the possibility to lower the transport conveyors to a low feeding height. This is recommended with the ironer is fed with a high portion of small items.
The Operating and Control System
The machine control is combined in a centrally arranged control panel. A large easy to read display, ergonomically designed keys and continuously available selection menus and operator guidance for the individually required programs make the system extremely simple to operate.
- Production Mode: The required feeding program is entered by pressing the program number or selecting the program name from the program memory and is then shown in the display field.
- Programming Mode: The purpose of the programming is to optimize the individual parameters of the feeding process for the different laundry types. In the programming mode, a short explanatory text appears on the display and consequently guides the operator to create the most suitable program for a certain article.
- Diagnostic Mode: The input and output levels of the machine control and all moving processes can be displayed on the screen and any faults shown with clear text.
