High feeding capacity by fast clamp availability
The Kannegiesser spreading system: measuring first, then spreading After the two corners of the item have been inserted into the clamps, a measuring sensor moves towards the item’s loop. The first clamp starts moving and a right-angled triangle is formed for a split second of which two sides are known.
Using Pythagoras’s classical theorem, the third side of the triangle can be calculated and the width of the item is determined and spread accordingly. This process is performed without applying any strain to the fabric’s leading edge.

The spreading mechanism guarantees an excellent leading edge. The spreading mechanism in combination with the proportional spreading force control, achieves precise, straight and centered feeding independent of the item’s width. The interaction of the vacuum transfer bar and Duo vacuum ensures that the items are deposited with a straight leading edge and without being pulled out of shape. |
