High performance automatic feeding systems require that the almost separated articles are delivered to the operators continuously and in an easy to handle way. Hard manual work untangling the articles from a laundry truck would be an illogical break in the system. Therefore, the unbelievably compact and highly efficient Pick-Up Device PU 12 is an excellent component for the complete feeding system.
The "laundry cake" which is broken up in the dryer/shaker is transported into the funnel of the Pick-Up Device - via conveyor belt, laundry truck, or monorail bag system.
The main component of the machine is the interaction between a sensor-driven grabber and a swinging conveyor belt. The grabber, controlled by a sensor, dips into the laundry load, grabs hold of an article, and pulls it up by only a short distance. The conveyor belt then swings underneath the article and transports it via a pressure roller.
The linen is then relatively relieved from the strain of tractive forces. It is separated by the conveyor belt in conjunction with the pressure roller, and transferred onto the transport belt. In the meantime, the grabber is available to pick up the next article.
The Pick-Up Device PU 12 can be freely installed near the loading station of the feeding systems. Generally, you should place it in such a position that the articles, which are mostly separated can be transported onto a conveyor belt. This moves the article to the operator in an ergonomically convenient position.
